About Dailygolf
Dailygolf is a free daily guessing game for golf fans, in the style of Wordle.
Every day there is one mystery professional golfer and one mystery golf YouTuber. You have five guesses, and every guess tells you how close you are. The games are free to play, need no account and work on phones and computers.
Why we made it
We love golf, and we love games you can finish in a few minutes over a coffee. The aim is a game that is quick to play, fair to everyone and a good way to learn something new about the sport.
The two games
- Guess the Pro Golfer: uses country, tour, age, majors and PGA Tour wins as clues. The list includes today's stars from the PGA Tour, LIV Golf and DP World Tour plus legends such as Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan.
- Guess the YouTube Golfer: uses country, handicap, subscribers, age and channel as clues. The creators come from fan-made YouTube golf handicap leaderboards.
Where the data comes from
Player records such as PGA Tour wins and majors are checked against public sources, and ages are calculated from birth dates. Creator handicaps come from a public YouTube golf leaderboard and subscriber counts from public channel statistics. These numbers change all the time, so a clue can be slightly out of date. If you spot a mistake, please tell us on the contact page and we will correct it.
Independent project
Dailygolf is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any tour, player, creator or channel. All names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the people in the game.
